The Office of President Jacob Zuma invites applications for its 2014/2015 internship programme. Consideration will be given to applications from unemployed South Africans with a National Diploma or degree in a relevant field of study. Interns will be placed in various operational and support areas within The Presidency, mostly in Pretoria – a few internship positions will be based in Cape Town (see table below). Interns will be paid a monthly stipend of R4 000. Successful candidates will sign internship contracts for a twelve (12) months period from April 2014 until March 2015.

Requirements: Applicants must be graduates in any of the fields listed above or undergraduate students where internship is a perquisite to obtain their formal qualification. A pre-employment security screening will be conducted on candidates relating to RSA citizenship, criminal record, credit record and verification of qualification. The outcome of this screening will be considered to determine suitability for employment.
