Duties and responsibilities:

• Generate Academic/Scientific posters for conferences as well as university promotional material (e.g. Invitations, programmes, notices etc.)
• Assist with record keeping
• Coordinate and collaborate with other units within the department on material needed for projects
• Assist academic staff with designing lecture material like illustrations, diagrams and scientific drawings
• Perform general day to day administration such as Laminating, printing, colour copying etc.)
• Attend to the needs of the users/departments to resolve queries
• Liaise with Manager on addressing any problems or related administration problems
• Contribute to the overall development of SMU and actively improve institutional culture

What are the requirements?

• A three-year post-matric Graphic Design qualification (BA Graphic Design Degree, Bachelor of Arts or equivalent) – transcript to be attached
• New entrant into the Graphic Design environment (in other words you must not have held Graphic design internship before)
