What are the requirements?

• Have a Graphic Design degree / national diploma;
• Intermediate computer skills, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Ability to work effectively with others and have good interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of Coral Draw or Illustrator, and Photoshop (please attach your updated portfolio); and
• Have the ability to work under pressure.

• Job related knowledge required for this position includes multimedia design and production; social media, branding and marketing would be an advantage.

You duties, if you are successful, will include:

• Assist with content management for CIVICUS’ online channels.
• Produce and edit basic video products.
• Assist with other communication unit tasks as may arise.
• Produce creative concepts and be competent in DTP/layout.
• Assist with communication unit administration.
• Contribute to social media and online content.
• Graphic design for print and online, including for social media channels.
• Develop variety of communication products for social, digital and print media.
