The Incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Ensure implementation of diversity interventions and strategies

  • Creating and managing measurement systems to track adoption and proficiency of individual change
  • Designing and implementing employee support programmes
  • Developing activities aimed at improving employee health and wellbeing
  • Managing all aspects of corporate OD programs

  • Management of performance levels of the team /service providers
  • The applicant should meet these requirements:
  • Matric with a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant qualification (Industrial Psychology, Bachelor Social Sciences, Behavioural Science etc.)
  • Experience in an OD Practitioner role advantageous
  • Exposure to change management, employee support programmes and diversity and transformation advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of change management methodology

The National Cleaner Production Centre of SA (NCPC-SA) is the dti’s key industrial sustainability programme, tasked with contributing to a competitive green economy and strengthening market access for SA industry. This is done by transferring resource efficiency and cleaner production (RECP) technologies and services to industry, aimed at achieving measurable economic, environmental and social benefits.

The NCPC-SA’s Internship Programme offers graduate and postgraduate students in the field of engineering (various disciplines), the opportunity to become part of this initiative and programme and gain valuable in-plant experience by assisting companies in addressing competitive challenges, production weaknesses and skills gaps. The in-plant company placements will be preceded by a ten-day intensive training programme and a qualified mentor will be assigned to support a group of successful applicants. Placement will be from 1 April 2013. These positions are based in Durban.

Requirements:

A 3-year National Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, Bachelor of Technology, Honours or Master’s qualification in any engineering field.

What are the requirements?

Qualifications:

Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:

–          N6 Electrical Engineering (Light Current) OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to obtain the full qualification). OR

–          S4 Electrical Engineering (Light Current) OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to obtain the full qualification). OR

–          BTech Electrical Engineering (Light Current) OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to the full qualification). OR

–          BSc Electrical Engineering (Light Current) OR have completed academic training (awaiting experiential training in order to the full qualification).

Experience: No experience is required.

Special requirements:

–          South African citizen.

–          Able to work at heights/confined spaces.

–          Not being colour blind.

Skills and competencies required:

–          Team player

–           Analytical thinker

–          Problem solver

–          Self-directed

–          PC Literate

–          Efficient in interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport with a diverse range of people (especially customers)

–          Efficient in communication skills

Core duties for successful candidates:

Candidates will receive theoretical training and practical exposure and experience in the telecommunications field.

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development is calling for applications from qualified individuals who are interested in becoming Candidate Attorney (interns) for the year 2013.

The 2013 interns/Candidate Attorneys will be placed at various state attorney offices in the country and there are currently 37 opportunities available. Interns will be placed in the following provinces and cities:

1. North West (3): Mmabatho (3)

2. Gauteng (12): Johannesburg (6); Pretoria (6).
3. Eastern Cape (9): Bisho (3); Port Elizabeth (3); Mthatha (3)
4. Free State (3): Bloemfontein (3)

What are the requirements?

An LLB degree; The following will serve as recommendation: A valid code EB (previously code 8) driver’s license.

What will be your duties as a Candidate Attorney?

Key Performance Areas: To receive training towards qualifying as an admitted attorney. To perform court work, draft pleadings and opinions under supervision of the Principal attorney. To perform other duties in  keeping with training that is required of a candidate attorney Being exposed to more complex work performed by State Attorneys, including litigation, expropriation, insolvencies and labour related matters.
