Requirements: Graduates (preference will be given to unemployed graduates) in possession of 3 years’ Legal Diploma/Degree, LLB, National Diploma in Policing, National Diploma/B.Tec in Forensic/Auditing and must be at least 18 – 35 years old.

Key Responsibilities: To attend to complainants with telephone and walk-in complaints • Assist in Investigation of complaints • Analyze and screening of complaints • Assessment and evaluation of complaints • Record keeping and fi le administration • To compile and submit statistical reports on investigations • Draft correspondences and responses to complaints and all stakeholders • Track pending complaints and refer to relevant investigative units • Ensure timeous delivery of service and turnaround time in investigations • Interview and advise clients/complaints timeously • Prepare and consolidate reports for Business Units • Responsible for files, office furniture, and other state assets under the control of the incumbent.

Note: Trainee/Learner Investigator will be done in terms of the Trainee/Learner Investigator Contract.
The successful candidates will be expected to sign the contract, secrecy declaration form and performance agreement within 3 months of accepting the position.

What are the requirements?
An LLB degree; The following will serve as recommendation: A valid code EB (previously code 8) driver’s license.
What will be your duties as a Candidate Attorney?
Key Performance Areas: To receive training towards qualifying as an admitted attorney. To perform court work, draft pleadings and opinions under supervision of the Principal attorney. To perform other duties in keeping with training that is required of a candidate attorney Being exposed to more complex work performed by State Attorneys, including litigation, expropriation, insolvencies and labour related matters.
