Serious contenders will have N3 Technical or a Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science. Having a Code B driver’s license will be an added advantage, assessments based on the job requirements will form part of the selection process

]]> Anglo American Thermal Coal (South Africa) is inviting suitable candidates to apply for a place on their 2012 learnership programme stationed at their Kriel Colliery in Mpumalanga in the following capacities:

  • Rigger

  • Fitting and Machining

  • Boilermakers

  • Instrument Mechanician

Requirements:

  • Minimum N2 Technical qualification with relevant subjects i.e.:

  • Fitting and Machining (Math’s, Science, Engineering Drawing, Fitting and Machining Trade theory)
  • Rigging ( Math’s, Science, Engineering Drawing)
  • Boilermaker (Math’s, Science, Plating & Structural Drawing, Platter’s Theory)
  • Instrument Mechanician (Math’s, Science, Engineering Drawings or Industrial Electronics)

  • Experience in the mining environment will be advantageous

    • Must be able and willing to work shifts, standby & call outs when required

  • In possession of or able to obtain a certificate of fitness

 

Candidates must be able and prepared to undergo a Psychometric assessment
