ArcelorMittal 2017 Production Learnerships (Only Grade 12 required)

Multinational steel manufacturer, ArcelorMittal, is inviting applications for its forty (40) production learnerships at its Vanderbijlpark Works operations in Gauteng from suitably qualified young South Africans with a Matric / Grade 12 certificate. Candidates are required to complete the learnership which comprises both theoretical and on-the-job practical training. A monthly learnership allowance will be paid for the duration of the learnership programme.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

Be a young South Africa;
Have a completed Matric / Grade 12 certificate;
Be prepared to commit to completing a learnership before considering another job or to pursue studies further.

Fire Fighter Learnership Programme 2014/2015 | ACSA (Matric & Driver’s License required)

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is inviting unemployed South Africans with a Grade 12/Matric qualification and a driver’s license to apply for its Fire Fighter Learnership Programme to be based in Gauteng at the OR Tambo International Airport for a period of 12 months. A monthly stipend will be paid for the duration of the learnership. Applicants are required to be fluent in written and spoken English.

What are the requirements?

Have a Matric / Grade 12 qualification;
Have a valid code 08 (Code B) driver’s license or higher; and
Must be physically fit (You will be required to pass a fitness test before appointment [Level “A”]).

System Developer Learnership | Standard Bank (Matric minimum required)

Standard Bank is looking to recruit for its IT Systems Developer Learnership to be based in Pretoria, Gauteng. This programme starts on 1 August 2014. And applications are invited from young South Africans with a Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics OR Computer Science as passed subjects. If you have already passed a tertiary in IT you also are welcome to apply. As part of the learnership, learners will go through practical and theoretical training and on successful completion will be awarded with a formal qualification in Systems Development. The Standard Bank Learnership will pay successful candidates a monthly stipend of R4500 for the duration of the learnership.

What are the requirements?

You candidate must:

Be between the ages of 18-30
Be able to speak, read and write English
Have completed Matric and passed Mathematics or Computer Science (with minimum pass of 50%) [We will also consider candidates with a post matric IT Qualification and candidates who have obtained a minimum matric pass of 65% in Maths Literacy]
Be computer literate
Not be permanently employed
Not be studying at any other institution
Not be registered on any other learnership
