What are the requirements?

The applicant must have achieved the following qualifications to be considered:

• Matric ( with Mathematics and Physical Science ) (N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science and English (50% are essential)
• Driver’s license
• Computer literacy
• The applicant will be required to take a mechanical insight test and pass sufficiently.
• The applicant will go through trough the standard background checks before being considered for the next step. The applicant will go through a medical assessment to establish fitness for work.
• Applicants that are successful will be placed through a Psychometric assessment and a face-to-face interview.

What are the requirements?

• You have to meet the following requirements to qualify:
• Have a Technical Matric/Grade OR an N2 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or higher;
• Have ability to complete courses necessary to qualify as a Diesel Mechanic;
• Have ability to become successful in a mechanical environment;
• Have one or more years of exposure to a technical environment;
• Be self-disciplined; have ability to function independently and be a team worker;
• Show potential to qualify as a Diesel Mechanic; and
• While not a minimum requirement, it will be an advantage to have a Code 8 (code B) driver’s license.
