Do you have a tertiary qualification in any of these fields of study: Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Retail Business Management, Economics, Business Science, or Statistics? Mr Price Group are hiring Trainee Planners within our Apparel, Home, and Sports retailers for 2022. Trainee Planner opportunities are aimed at producing fully trained and equipped Retail Merchandise Planners. The purpose of Retail Merchandise Planning is to make sure we invest in the right products at the right price and allocate products to the right store at the right time.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

A completed Degree/ Diploma in Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Retail Business Management, Economics, Business Science, Statistics
Basic level of proficiency in Microsoft excel
High level of numeracy, attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem solving & an appetite for learning

Are you a creative, organized individual with good negotiation & presentation skills and have a desire to grow into a buying role? Mr Price are hiring Trainee Buyers within our Apparel, Home, and Sport retailers for 2022. The following fields of study are welcome: Interior or Fashion Design, Textile Design, Clothing Management, Consumer Science. The purpose of the appointed Trainee Buyers will be to learn the merchant processes and develop key knowledge and skills to manage a designated portfolio.

What are the requirements?

Mr Price Trainee Planner (MILADYS)

Mr Price Group is inviting applications for a Trainee Planner position currently available within its MILADYS fashion brand. This position will suit candidates who have completed a BCom or BBS degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain or a relevant business degree with a focus on business and numbers. Interns will be paid a monthly stipend and will be expected to work on a full-time basis.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, applicants have to meet the following minimum criteria:

Must have completed a Bachelor of Business Science OR Bachelor of Commerce degree in any of the following: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain or a relevant business degree with a focus on business and numbers;
Have a passion for fashion and the retail business;
Preferable: Candidates with at least one year’s experience in any retail position will be given preference.
