The purpose of this programme is to provide learners with advanced workplace learning in a specialised discipline or sub discipline in their field of study.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

N3/Senior Certificate with Maths and Science
Medically Fit
Pass Client Screening, which includes criminal record screening
Pass Client Induction
Unemployed
Be willing to do psychometric assessments
Fraser Alexander will do background screening of qualifications
Candidate must not have been in a similar apprentice programme before
Successful candidates must be willing to relocate to any Fraser Alexander Sites within South Africa

Essential Foods Bloemfontein Bakery which is a division of South Africa’s premier household consumables group, Pioneer Foods, is inviting applications for its Plant Maintenance Apprenticeships from unemployed South African citizens with an N3 certificate. The apprenticeships will be based at Essential Foods Bloemfontein Bakery in the Free State and successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the apprenticeship programme.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered for this apprenticeship programme, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

Have relevant technical trade theory certificate (N3 certificate);
Must be willing to take part in shift work;
Must have a knowledge and understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, and know how they apply.

Aveng 2016 Apprenticeships (Only Matric / N3 required)

Aveng Grinaker-LTA, a South African construction group, is inviting applications from unemployed South Africans with a Matric / Grade 12 or N2,N3 for its 4-year apprenticeship which will result in successful candidates becoming qualified Earth Moving Mechanics. The apprentice(s) will be paid a monthly allowance for the duration of the apprenticeship.

What are the requirements?

To apply for the Aveng apprenticeship, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

Have a Matric / N2,N3 with Mathematics and Science;
Be able to communicate in English;
Have a driver’s license;
Have a strong technical ability; and
Have the ability to work in a team.
