]]>In a scam warning/ notice published to the Netcare official website, the hospital group said that the company’s name and corporate identity “has been used fraudulently in a series of hoax e-mails, SMS messages and online and social media scams whereby money is requested from applicants for learnerships and other recruitment processes”.
Netcare re-iterated that it never solicits any funds from job applicants and will never do so. “Netcare would NEVER ask candidates for money to process their job applications as it is not the policy of the organisation to collect fees when we recruit or appoint employees. This is an illegal, unauthorised advertisement not sanctioned in any way or connected to Netcare,” it said in the notice. “If you are requested to deposit money into a bank account relating to the above-mentioned do NOT do so.”
The Bursary Bin founder, Madimetja Mashishi, has called on members of the public to only trust opportunities published on reputable career websites. “Internships, learnerships or jobs published or shared on social networks such as Facebook and those appearing on public classifieds websites should be carefully scrutinised. Applicants should always look to trustworthy career information sources for learnerships, internships or job adverts to avoid scams,” he says.
The Bursary Bin publishes only verified information. You can trust all opportunities published on The Bursary Bin.
