Old Mutual South Africa is inviting applications from young South Africans intending to study actuarial science in 2015. The actuarial bursaries programme is only available for students studying actuarial science or intending to start in 2015 only at the universities of Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Applicants can be from anywhere in South Africa, but they should be planning to study at the universities mentioned or already/currently studying there. If you know your way around numbers and Mathematics is your best and favourite school subject then this opportunity is for you.

What is even so good about the Old Mutual Actuarial Bursary is that it is a comprehensive (it pays for meals, books, school fees and other necessities, and if you do so well in your studies you will get cash rewards – how cool is that?) and, while you are studying and when you complete your degree, you are guaranteed a job a Old Mutual.

What are the requirements?

  • Mathematics with A+ pass; and
