South African food company Pioneer Foods’ division/subsidiary Quantum Foods: Nulaid Morester Porteville is inviting applications for a Farming Operations Trainee opportunity currently vacant at its Western Cape operations. This position would be suitable for an undergraduate, or otherwise uncertified person, who will be employed to complete the theoretical and practical component of a qualification.

knowledge of farming operations for cost efficiency;
knowledge of agricultural production and quality parameters;
optimised raw material stocks;
knowledge of use of machinery & equipment; and

A division of Pioneer Foods, the Ceres Beverage Company, has position available for a Human Resources Management intern for a period not exceeding 18 months. The position is based in Ceres and the intern will be paid a stipend.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the position is required to have a B-Degree OR National Diploma in Human Resources Management. Experience is not required.

The successful intern will be trained in, and will be required to have a output in the following functions:

Skills Development
Recruitment and Selection
Training and Development
Employment Equity
Systems, Procedures and Practices
