The office of the South African president, the Presidency, is inviting applications for their 2021 Internship Programme from unemployed South African graduates in various fields of study. The Internship Programme is open to Unemployed South African graduates/post graduates who are younger than 35 years of age, with a tertiary qualification in one of the fields of study mentioned below, who have not been previously employed under any internship programme.

Stipend:
The Interns will receive a stipend according to the level of qualification obtained: R6083.70 per month for National Diploma, R6083.70 per month for Bachelor’s/Honours Degree, R7510.65 per month for Master’s Degree

The Private Office of the President of the Republic of South Africa is inviting applications for its Internships: Private Office of the President: Advisory Support Services (Ref No. 34) for 2016 from South African law graduates holding either an LLB, BA Law, or B. Proc or related / higher qualification. The internships will be based in Pretoria and interns will receive the following stipends:  National Diploma/Degree/Honours = R4 620.00 per month; – Masters Degree = R5 725.00 per month; and – PhD = R7 110.00 per month.

What are the requirements?

What will your duties include?

  • Assist in registering and scrutinizing legal and executive acts in line with the constitution and other legislative imperatives;

Are you an unemployed graduate with a degree, diploma or honours degree? Are you looking for an internship to gain practical experience while you earn? The office of President Jacob Zuma is inviting applications from people like yourself for its 2015 / 2016 internship programme. The internship programme will begin on 1 April 2014 and 31 March 2016. Interns will be paid a monthly stipend of R4,500.00 for the duration of the internship programme.

Internship opportunities are available in various Presidency directorates and offices in Pretoria, Gauteng and Cape Town, Western Cape. Only applications from South African citizens will be considered. People who have previously participated in a paid internship programme should not apply. The Office of President Jacob Zuma invites applications for its 2014/2015 internship programme. Consideration will be given to applications from unemployed South Africans with a National Diploma or degree in a relevant field of study. Interns will be placed in various operational and support areas within The Presidency, mostly in Pretoria – a few internship positions will be based in Cape Town (see table below). Interns will be paid a monthly stipend of R4 000. Successful candidates will sign internship contracts for a twelve (12) months period from April 2014 until March 2015.

Requirements: Applicants must be graduates in any of the fields listed above or undergraduate students where internship is a perquisite to obtain their formal qualification. Applications must be submitted on a Z83 form (CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD), obtainable from any Public Service Department, stating the field to which the Intern is applying from the above list, a CV together with certified copies of certificates, transcripts and a letter from the institution for the undergraduates as well as Identity Document. Failure to submit required documents will result in the application not being considered.

A pre-employment security screening will be conducted on candidates relating to RSA citizenship, criminal record, credit record and verification of qualification. The outcome of this screening will be considered to determine suitability for employment.

Who should apply?

Unemployed South African graduates/postgraduates, with a tertiary qualification in one of the above-mentioned fields of study, who has not been previously employed under any internship programme.

Note: These internships (with the exception of the last 3) are based in Pretoria. Candidates must be willing and able to find their own accommodation in Pretoria, considering that they will not earn a salary but only a stipend.
