Owner of famous shoe brand, Grasshoppers, Watson Shoes -a division of Bolton Footwear – is inviting applications for its production trainee opportunities for 2014. The production trainee positions will be based in the Great Brak River and Oudtshoorn establishments of Watson Shoes in the Western Cape. The training programme is anticipated to last between 12 and 24 months – depending on the trainee’s progress.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for these production trainee opportunities you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

You must have a Diploma OR Degree in Industrial Engineering or Production Management;
Have a driver’s license (code 8);
Have excellent communication skills (English/Afrikaans);
Be computer literate; and
Be willing to pursue a career in the shoe industry.
Advantageous: While having previous experience is not necessary, it will serve as an advantage.
