Bursary students must maintain a consistently good academic record at university and pass the required number of subjects in each academic year to PwC’s satisfaction.
Skills and behaviours we are looking for
Responsibilities of PwC bursary holders
Bursary holders are required to serve a three-year training contract with PwC on completion of their post-graduate studies. The contract may be extended for a longer period, depending on the financial value of the bursary and number of years for which it was awarded.
We expect our bursary holders to progress steadily throughout the three years in order to qualify as a CA(SA). This includes writing the qualifying exams and achieving the necessary core hours as prescribed by SAICA.

Proficient in English with strong communication skills. Must have participated in sport and/or extramural activities at school and/or university. Good interpersonal skills, drive, determination and leadership potential are important.
Competencies/Skills
Applicants must be intending to study or already studying towards a career in Chartered Accountancy at a SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountancy) accredited institution. Grade 12 : Must be writing for a matric exemption and university acceptance. Need to be doing Maths (pure Maths not Maths Literacy) and English. Must be obtaining over 60% for all your subjects. University : Students already at University must obtain consistent passes in all subjects.
The closing date is 14 December 2012. And preference will be given to to Employment Equity Applicants
