Sanlam invites applications for their 12-months HR Administrative Assistant Intern: Group Human Resources position based at their Bellville, Cape Town. Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files. Routines are generally prescribed, and supervision is readily available.

You will be required to have basic HR knowledge to draft documents and build presentations on all specific HR functions.  Through negotiations and influencing, coordinate team meetings and events with the cluster HR team members across the group.

The Sanlam CA Training Programme is guided by SAICA regulations, which requires practical experience to obtain competence in technical and professional skills over three years. The technical competencies include Accounting & External Reporting, Financial Management, Management Decision Making & Control, Taxation, Risk Management & Governance, and Auditing & Assurance. The professional competencies include Professional Conduct, Management & Leadership, Personal Attributes, and Information Technology. South African financial services giant, Sanlam, are looking for recent graduates with a 3 year degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field who are interested in gaining work experience to apply to take part in a 12 months internship programme, to be based at the Sanlam Corporate offices in Bellville, Cape Town in 2017. Interns will be paid a month stipend for the 12-months duration of the internship programme.

Key Responsibilitie 

  • The successful candidate will receive a stipend of R6500
  • Candidates will be part of a 12 month internship programme starting 01 February 2017
