Who should apply?

All applicants must:

–          Be between the ages of 18-35 years and be a South African citizen.

–          Students who need Experiential Training.

–          Studied at a recognised institution of higher learning in the Republic of South Africa.

What is the stipend?

Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12 month internship contract. An all inclusive monthly stipend will be paid for a National Diploma and R5200 for a Bachelors Degree.

Important notes: Appointment will be subject to compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, references, ITC, criminal checks and compulsory competency assessment (where necessary).  It is our intention to promote representivity in terms of race, gender, disability and youth through the filling of these posts and candidates whose appointment will promote representivity will receive preference.  It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) prior to the selection process. SASSA is under no obligation to fill a post after the advertisement thereof.
