What are the requirements?

To be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Siemens that applicants have a Bachelor of Commerce in the following fields of study:
    • Accounting
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Marketing
    • Strategy
    • Business Administration
    • Communications
    • Information Technology
    • Call Centre Operations
  • No previous experience is necessary, but will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and digital competence is required.
  • SAP knowledge will be advantageous.

German-headquartered engineering firm, Siemens, is inviting applications for its 2016, 3-year long SAICA Training programme from unemployed South African graduates with a completed BCom Honours / CTA in accounting. Successful candidates will be appointed on three years paid training contracts and will be primarily based in the Accounting & Controlling division of Siemens and will be trained towards qualifying for certification as Chartered Accountants (SA) with the South Africa Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
