SKILLS:
Applicants should be in possession of the following skills:
NOTE: Interns will be allocated mentors and will be placed in the identified IDT offices nation-wide. Applicants are encouraged to apply for internship in their respective Provinces. Successful candidates will sign a 12 month internship contract. Interns will be paid a stipend for the duration of the internship contract.
NB: Those people who have already completed an Internship programme in any private or public organisation must not apply.

]]>The Department of Science and Technology is inviting suitable graduates who have completed their studies at institutions of higher learning to participate in an Internship Programme. The duration of the programme is twelve months, with effect from April 2013. Interested and qualifying graduates that are currently unemployed and never participated in an Internship Programme in government are invited to apply for these positions that are based at the Pretoria offices:
Applicants should fall under youth category (ages 18 to 35) and preferably be South African citizens. Preference would be given to those possessing relevant tertiary qualifications from accredited higher learning institutions. Applications must be submitted on a Z83 form, obtainable from any Public Service department, and should be accompanied by a comprehensive CV, certified copies of academic record; certificate and identity document. Failure to submit the required documents might result in your application not being considered. .All application should be addressed to Ms MM Makgoba and posted to Department of Science and Technology, Private Bag x894; PRETORIA; 0001 or hand delivered to CSIR Campus; DST Building 52 at the reception area.
