Duties and responsibilities:

  • Back-end development on device management software: handle device configs, package updates, device logistics
  • Dev ops work around CI, deployment processes, managing our systems and servers
  • Device software dev: planning and implementing new ways to test network performance, low-level device security and encryption, device recovery systems, Linux kernel work
  • Hardware development: firmware development, digital circuit design, RF work, manufacturing and production logistics

The National Department of Tourism is currently inviting graduates in a number of fields (see below) to apply for its internship programme for the years 2013 and 2014. The internship will run from 1 April 2013 until 31 March 2014.

The Department of Tourism offers Internship opportunities to unemployed South African graduates who wish to apply in the fields that are in line with the departmental core business and who have not been previously employed under any internship program.
Applicants should not be above 35 years of age.  Applications are invited from candidates in the following disciplines / fields of study:

REQUIREMENTS

Applications must be submitted on a Z 83 form (CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD or obtain from any Public Service Department) by no later than the 30 November 2012 , stating the field  of study and reference number which the candidates are  applying for (from the above list),  and their CV, certified copies of certificates, academic transcripts (record) and an identity document must be attached.
