Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advertisement of tender on National Treasury E Tender Portal, OWB website and CIDB(if applicable).
  • Closing of tender in line with SCM policy and applicable legislative requirement.
  • Preparation of procurement report for request for quotations or request for proposal.

The Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs’ municipal support agency, the Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA), is inviting applications for its 12-months long internship programme. The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) is calling on all suitably qualified and willing Gauteng citizens to apply before 17 October 2013 for bursary opportunities offered by the department. The bursaries will cover registration, tuition fees payable directly to the institution of learning and prescribed text books and equipment; student accommodation will also be covered provided a detailed motivation letter is attached to the bursary application form. The bursaries will be awarded for the prescribed duration of the National Diploma, B-Tech or Degree as determined by the learning institution.
