Qualification: B.Com Accounting (Honours), as well as CTA. Achieved at a SAICA a credited academic institution.

The incumbent will undergo practical exposure in the financial domain in order to meet SAICA’s prescribed 3 year learning objectives/outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:

Ability

• be discreet when dealing with client information
• ensure that financial statements are accurate
• interact with people at all levels
• liaise with auditors, lawyers, tax advisors, bankers and shareholders
• prepare financial statements and budgets
• prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities
• summarise the business’ financial position (income, expenses, capital usage and cash flows)

Experience

• the preparation of management accounts
• Assist with compilation of budgets

Knowledge

• SAP
