]]> The government department responsible for South Africa’s water and sanitation needs, the Department of Water and Sanitation, is inviting applications for its 2016 Human Resources (HR) Internships (Ref: 220416/01) from unemployed South African graduates with a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management. The Department aims to employ ten (10) candidates on this internship. Successful candidates will be required to sign a 12 months internship contract and will be paid an annual salary of R132 399 (equating to R11 033 per month). Interns will be based at the Department of Water and Sanitation in Pretoria.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered for these internships, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Must have completed your qualification (National Diploma OR Bachelor’s degree at NQF Level 6 or higher) or the theoretical part of your qualification in Human Resource Management;
  • Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 17 and 35 years; and
  • People who previously participated in any internship programme should NOT apply.
