How to apply?
To apply send a cover letter clearly stating the position you are applying for (Use Internship plus the area of internship from the above table, e.g. Internship: Communication), certified copies of academic qualifications and a copy of your curriculum vitae must accompany all applications. Application must be hand delivered for the attention of the Manager: Human Resource and Development, West Rand District Municipality, Cnr Sixth and Park Street, Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:00 up to the closing date (a container for hand-delivered applications will be placed at the RECEPTION AREA); or posted to Private Bag X033, Randfontein 1760. Failure to comply with above instructions and late applications will disqualify applicants.

]]>The programme is a result of the collaboration between CSIR/Gauteng Department of Economic Development and the West Rand District Municipality. All the four local municipalities within the West Rand Municipality (i.e. Merafong, Westonaria, Randfontein and Mogale City) will benefit from the implementation of the programme. Even though up-scaling of the CSIR technology will be in one local municipality within the West Rand District Municipality, assessments and training of graduates will be carried-out in selected wastewater treatment works in all the local municipalities.
