Are you an unemployed graduate in the Western Cape with a National Diploma or Degree? Are you looking for an opportunity to gain experience while you earn a stipend? The Western Cape Government Department of Health is commencing with its Graduate Internship Programme for all South African unemployed graduates residing in the Western Cape.
The WCG: Health Graduate Internship Programme is a youth programme (ages 20 to 35) and will provide an opportunity to gain practical work experience for a maximum period of twelve (12) ,whereby successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R4 989,51 to R7 649,60 (depending on the NQF level 6-8). Women and people with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply.

What are the requirements?

You may only apply if you are already in possession of a degree (NQF Level 7) or diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following academic fields:

Information Management;
Senior Copy Writer or Graphic Design;
Clinical Engineering (Industrial Technician and Quantity Surveyor);
Financial Accounting, with an average pass mark of 60% in your final year major subjects/modules.

How to apply?
Candidates must submit a completed Application Form (Z83 Form) CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD, or obtain from any government department, together with a certified copy of the relevant qualification, a certified copy of their green South African bar-coded ID or a certified copy of their new South African ID card as well as their academic results certified by the academic institution.

Clearly indicate on the application form (Z-83) which internship position you are applying for. Please submit your application for the attention of Ms NT Albertus, Directorate: People Development, Western Cape Government: Department of Health, 4 Dorp Street, Cape Town 8001.

Please note: Copies of certified copies and faxes will not be accepted. The Department will not be held responsible for any costs relating to relocation, subsistence and traveling. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. Kindly accept that if you do not hear from the Department in three months, your application was unsuccessful.

The Western Cape Department of Social Development is inviting applications for its 2014/2015 internship programme from unemployed graduates and undergraduates in various study fields including office administration, cost management, social work, public administration/management, logistics, accounting, risk management, and auditing. The internships will be based accross various regions of the Western Cape province.

What are the requirements?

In addition to the qualification requirements listed in the table below, applicants should meet these criteria:

Must be a South African Citizen;
Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old;
Must have a completed qualification (see list below) OR be a current student in a qualification that requires in-service training.

How to apply?

Applications should be made up of a duly completed Z83 Form (CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD or go fetch one at a government department/office); CV; Motivation Letter; certified copies of Matric/Grade 12 certificate; certified copy of qualification or copy of academic transcript; and certified copy of ID.

Applications should be submitted before the closing date to the Western Cape Department of Social Development at 14 Queen Victoria Street, Union House Building, Cape Town, 8001 for the attention of Mr A Hlanganiso.
