South Africa’s National Treasury invites exceptional graduates to apply for their 24-month-long graduate development programme starting in 2013. This internship programme is aimed at only those South African graduates who have worked for their degrees or post graduate degrees, if your overall average mark is below 60% you are no match for this internship programme. According to the National Treasury “graduates must have completed their degrees and/or post graduate studies with an average of 60% or higher and must be South African citizens”.
Who qualifies for the National Treasury Graduate Development Programme?
To qualify for the internship programme, you must have completed or be in the process of
completing your undergraduate or postgraduate studies in the field of:

- Accounting
- Taxation
- Procurement/ Supply Chain Management/Logistics
- Econometrics
- Statistics/Mathematics
- Human Resources Management/Organisational Psychology
- Communication(s)
- Finance
- Social Policy
- Public Policy
- Computer Science/Information Systems/Information Technology
In addition to the above, you must be a South African citizen and achieve more than 60% average in your degree.
