    An opportunity exists for an intern to join our Organisational Development team and be exposed to the exciting, dynamic and challenging world of EB. During the period, the intern will gain real workplace experience covering a wide spectrum of Organisational Development activities within the Employee Benefits industry.

 

Location

 

    The above-mentioned position is currently available in the Centurion Organisational Development team at our Momentum Employee Benefits business unit based at our office in Centurion.

 

Experience & Qualifications

 

    Recently completed National Diploma or Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree in Industrial Psychology / Human Resource with no working experience or a final year student who requires an internship as part of their studies.

 

Work Output

 

      Project management

 

      • Assist OD Project with the following duties:

 

      • Defining of project scope

 

      • Negotiating for and coordinating of project resources

 

      • Compiling of detailed project plans

 

      • Project tracking and reporting

 

      • Conducting and producing project progress reports and setting up specific meetings

 

      • Resolution of issues identified during the duration of project

 

      • Managing project expectations of Project Owner/s (OD Consultants)

 

      • Project administration including project budget
      OD responsibilities:
      • Perform an efficient and accurate administrative function including travel arrangements and diary management.

 

      • Deal promptly with client requests in a competent, efficient and professional

 

      • Engage in appropriate training interventions to promote own professional development.

 

      • Ensure to demonstrate the company’s values on a daily basis.

 

    • Goal and delivery orientated – ability to work towards goals and ensure that project commitments are delivered on timeously.

 

Competencies Required

 

      • Currently unemployed

 

      • Matric or NQF4

 

      • Exceptionally fast conceptual skills and creative thinker

 

      • Good writing and oral skills in English

 

      • Computer literate in e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint

 

      • Ability to work under pressure

 

      • Attention to detail

 

    • Planning and organising skills
