Mazars South Africa is looking for accounting graduates with at least a 3-year degree majoring in accounting such as a Bachelor of Accounting, B Com Accounting, or BCompt degrees to apply for its Accounting Clerk training opportunities based in Bloemfontein, Free State.
Your duties will involve processing client information via the accounting system to produce annual financial statements for sole proprietors, partnerships, close corporations and non audit trusts. Registering for a SAIPA training contract enables candidates to specialise in the accounting function.
Duties and responsibilities
– Source relevant client information.
– Process and reconcile annual transactions from source documents
– Prepare working paper files
– Resolve review queries and complete final entries and tax return
– Process and reconcile monthly client transactions and procedures, monthly management account reports, as well as client statutory returns
What are the requirements?
You have to have completed a B Com Accounting, Bcompt or B Accounting Degree with or without GDA/Hons/CTA. Be prepared to sign a 3-year training contact with Mazars.
