National Development Agency Internship Programme 2014/15

The National Development Agency (NDA) is inviting applications from graduates in various development related study fields to apply for their Jessica Fortuin Fellowship 2014/15 Internship Programme. The NDA will consider applications from graduates with a Bachelors degree in any of the following fields: entrepreneurship, community development (rural/urban), agriculture, policy development, social studies, development management, monitoring and evaluation, research and development, economic development, or related study fields. Succesful applicants will be placed in a 24-months internship programme at the NDA national office in Johannesburg (Parktown North) or at any of its provincial offices. Interns will receive a monthly stipend.

What are the requirements?

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in any of the following study fields: entrepreneurship, community development (rural/urban), agriculture, policy development, social studies, development management, monitoring and evaluation, research and development, economic development, or related study fields;
  • Be an unemployed South African citizen under the age of 35 years (but older than 21 years old).

To apply for this internship programme you must send an application letter together with your detailed CV (stating your area of specialisation), and certified copies of you ID and qualifications (hint: include transcripts of academic record as well) to the NDA by email at JFFInternships@nda.org.za prior to the closing date.
