Teljoy 2016 Learnerships and Internships

South African appliances rental company, Teljoy, is inviting applications for its W&R SETA funded learnerships and internships which will be based mostly in Johannesburg, except for the Learner Junior Project Manager learnership which is based both in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Successful applicants will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the learning contract.

What are the requirements?

  • Applicants must be South African citizens who meet the minimum requirements as listed in the table below:
Internship Position Minimum requirements Application link
Admin Learner
  • Have a Grade 12/Matric
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Ms Word & Ms Excel)
  • Have a basic knowledge of computer components
  • Advantage: It will be to your advantage if you also have a Certificate of National Diploma in Business Administration

Technical Learner
  • Have a Grade 12/Matric certificate
  • Have an Semester four /S4 (i.e. completed theory) for an Electrical Engineering National Diploma
  • Basic knowledge of computer components
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Ms Word & Ms Excel)

Learner Junior Project Manager
  • Have a Grade 12/Matric certificate
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Projects
  • Ability to read and compile RF drawings.
  • Knowledge on radio frequency (RF) technology, head-end, distribution systems, CCTV and access control.
  • Ability to read and compile RF drawings.
  • Solid understanding of Health and Safety compliance.
  • Experience in inventory control (stock control).
  • Have a Code 8 driver’s license and be willing to travel.
