The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) is inviting suitable students studying towards CETA relevant qualifications and candidates who completed Grade 12 who are interested in construction-related studies to apply for the 2022 Thapelo Madibeng Bursary Programme
Who can apply?
- Undergraduate and Post graduate candidates can apply
- Immediate CETA employee family members may not apply
- Students currently funded through CETA funded entities may not apply
- Full-time students registered with public institution of their choice may apply
- Applications will only be considered from South African Citizens
What are the requirements?
- 60% Grade 12 academic achievement with both Mathematics and Physical Science (Level 5 or more)
- No bursaries will be granted to existing students who are not permitted to the next year of study and have failed more than two subjects
- Applications from designated groups will be given preference

Supporting Documentation
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified copy of guardian/parents proof of income
- Letter of acceptance from tertiary institution (First Year students)
- Full academic history for students already (Students already at tertiary only)
- Grade 12 June results for matriculants without matric certificate
- Affidavit from the commissioner of oath for both parents proof of income
- Parents proof of income (Parents not earning more than R350k per annum)
