South32 2023 Hotazel Manganese Mines Learnerships and Apprenticeships

South32 is inviting applications for their 2023 Hotazel Manganese Mines learnerships and apprenticeships. Persons applying for the learnerships should have a Grade 12 qualification, while those apply for apprenticeships should have both Grade 12 and N2 qualifications. The purpose of the role is to provide training and development opportunity to achieve the Blasting Certificate and relevant Trade Certificates.
What are the requirements?
Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered:
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification (if applying for the Learnership only)
- ONLY if apply for you are applying for the apprenticeship: Grade 12 and N2 qualification with relevant subjects for Diesel Mechanics, Fitters, Boilermaker, and Electricians.
- Be a South African who is resident in the John Taolo Gaetsewe municipality, proof of residence is required.
- The following are not minimum requirements but would be advantageous: Some mining experience, and a driver’s licence.
