Rand Water 2026 Administrator Learnerships (Only Grade 12 required)

Rand Water is seeking motivated South African youth aged 18–35 to join their Public Service Administrator Learnership Programme (NQF Level 5) based at Rietvlei. This structured contract opportunity is specifically designed for unemployed Matriculants looking to gain foundational skills in office administration and public sector compliance. It offers an excellent launchpad for individuals with strong backgrounds in mathematics and business or physical sciences to build a meaningful career.

What are the requirements?

The learnership is open to young South Africans who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Applicants must not be employed.
  • Applicants must not be enrolled with any institution for a qualification nor be registered in any Learnership Programme.
  • Applicants must not be in possession of a completed post-matric qualification
    (NB: Failure to disclose post-matric qualifications will result in applicant being disqualified)
  • Applicants must have a Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics (Minimum level 4 or higher)/ Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 or higher) with Physical Science (Minimum Level 4 or higher) OR
    Mathematics (minimum Level 4 or higher)/Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 or higher) with Business Studies (Minimum Level 4 or higher).
  • Applicants must submit/attach SAQA / NLRD verification report
    (Obtainable from SAQA website » SAQA Verifications Service » Extract from the NLRD)
  • Applicants must be a South African citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID.
  • Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age (in line with the NSDSIII).

Applicants in possession of a post-matric qualification must not apply and will not be considered.
